Hi, I’m Ann
With years of experience as a compassionate therapist and certified divorce coach, I specialize in guiding individuals and families through life’s transitions with clarity, resilience, and personalized support.
Early on
I founded Gently Transition in 1993 after relocating to Charlotte, bringing with me years of experience as a therapist in New York. My early focus was on helping clients navigate challenges in couples work, anxiety, eating disorders, and trauma. In 2010, I deepened my expertise by becoming a certified Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, integrating somatic techniques into my practice to provide a holistic approach to healing and personal growth.
Current
Since then, I have become a board-certified Collaborative Divorce Coach, with a primary focus on Collaborative Divorce and couples work. In addition to my expertise, I lead a fully trained and compassionate team of therapists who support clients across a wide range of therapeutic needs, including trauma, substance use, eating disorders, anxiety, and depression. Together, we are dedicated to providing personalized care to help individuals and families heal and thrive.
